Live online courses: learn AI with a person in the room
Everything recorded on this site is free forever — the fifteen Academy lessons, the step-by-step practical courses, the prompt library. That never changes. Live courses are the other door: small-group classes over Zoom, led by a person, for people who learn better doing than reading — and who want to ask their question the moment it comes up.
How live courses work
- Small groups, on purpose. Cohorts stay small enough that everyone gets heard and nobody hides at the back — there is no back.
- Live on Zoom, from anywhere. Join from home, in any time zone the cohort covers. A computer or tablet and a free AI chat account are all you need.
- Bring your own real task. Every session works on your actual material — your letter, your channel, your shop's posts. You leave with the thing done, not just described.
- Honest scheduling. We do not publish fake dates or countdown timers. Cohorts open when enough people are ready: register your interest below, and the next cohort is announced by email — people on the list hear first, in order.
AI Basics Live — for beginners
Who it is for: complete beginners and the AI-curious — including seniors, parents, and anyone who has nodded along about AI while quietly feeling behind. No experience, no jargon, no question too basic.
What you will do live:
- Session 1 — first steps, on your real life. AI in plain words, your first prompts, and guided practice on tasks you actually have: a letter, a form explained, a message written well.
- Session 2 — safety and confidence. Spotting scams (including the voice-clone call), privacy habits that protect you, and a review of the week's practice — your questions lead.
- Between sessions: one small real task, done at home, that we look at together in session 2.
The recorded version of this material is the free AI Foundations course — live adds the person, the practice, and the answers.
Content Creator Live Sprint — for creators
Who it is for: creators already posting — or ready to start — who want a system instead of random effort: hooks that earn attention, scripts that hold it, and a rhythm that survives real life.
What you will do live:
- Session 1 — hooks & scripts workshop. Bring your next three video ideas. We workshop the hooks live as a group, build script skeletons, and sharpen each other's openings.
- Session 2 — repurpose & rhythm. One finished video becomes five pieces of content, live; then we build your personal 30-day posting rhythm from the same system as the free lessons.
- You leave with: sharpened hooks, script skeletons for your next videos, and a calendar you can actually keep.
Prefer to work alone? The free creators lesson and the first-10-videos course teach the same method in writing.
AI for Your Business Live — for owners & teams
Who it is for: small business owners and their staff — shops, trades, clinics, cafés, services — who want AI doing real work this month, not a strategy document.
What you will do live:
- Draft, together: customer replies, product descriptions, and a week of social posts — from your business's real material.
- An honest pass over the tools: what is worth paying for at your size, what is free-tier enough, what to skip entirely.
- A live look at a website AI chat answering customer questions (the same system running on this page), and whether it fits your business.
- Privacy and safety rules for staff: what never goes into a chat, and the scam targeting businesses right now.
Bringing a whole team, or want it on-site in Saskatchewan? That is a private workshop — same material, your room, your tasks.
Register your interest
Next cohort announced by email — register interest and we'll write you first. No dates are published because cohorts are scheduled when enough people are ready; the interest list is how a cohort becomes real. Joining costs nothing and promises nothing — when a cohort opens, you get the details (dates, format, and price) by email and decide then, with no obligation.
While you wait: the recorded courses really are the whole method, free — start with Lesson 1, AI in Plain Words, or pick a real task from the step-by-step courses. And the chat on this page can answer questions in the meantime.
